ATTO's Xtend SAN iSCSI Initiator for 32 and 64 bit Mac systems enables Mac OS X users to have a reliable, secure, highly interoperable connection to standard iSCSI storage. Xtend SAN is fully supported and updated as new versions of Mac OS X are released so downtime is never an issue. iSCSI allows users to take advantage of their Ethernet expertise and infrastructure while reaping the benefits of network attached storage.

With Xtend SAN iSCSI Initiator for Mac® software, you can make Direct Attached Storage available to multiple servers across long distances using the Ethernet technology built into your workstation. This enables you to take advantage of networked storage while avoiding the cost and complexity of a Fibre Channel SAN. With iSCSI, small businesses and workgroups can take full advantage of a SAN environment, even with limited IT budgets and resources.

Xtend SAN management and configuration are simplified thanks to an intuitive graphical user interface (GUI), which also guides users through initial setup. An advanced CLI is also available to provide scripting capabilities which allow users to access the most frequently used features of the GUI.
