XNmap can be used to perform network auditing, informing you of which ports are open on which machines on your network, and what software is running behind each of those ports.
Results can be saved in multiple formats (plain text, XML, etc...) What's New
Version 3.0:
- XNmap is a Universal Binary!XNmap is now multi-session - more than one scan at a time
- Configurable nmap location (the options are to point at /usr/local/bin/nmap - where nmap is placed after being compiled, /sw/bin/nmap - where Fink places nmap, or you can point to any other location)
- nmap binary no longer included inside application bundle
- Scan options are laid out in a much more clear waynmap included in separate package (ppc only at the moment - donations would help fill this gap!) Version 3.0:
