Xilisoft iPod Rip 3.3

Xilisoft iPod Rip is an iPod management tool for Mac. There is also a version available for Windows computers. The application allows you to copy data from and to your iPod. You can use it to backup your music or download a few songs off into any computer or to put new music on it, for example.

When you first launch this app, you will see a list of connected devices and local iTunes databases on the left. From there, you can start managing your devices. For example, I decided to test the app by downloading some songs from my iPod into the desktop. I simply checked the songs that I wanted to download and clicked on "Export Checked Files to Local Folder". That did it for me. I then proceeded to put some music on the iPod. That was as easy as selecting an MP3 file and clicking on the "Add file" button. The file appeared in the interface and on my iPod after I disconnected it.

Xilisoft iPod Rip shows all the songs on your iPod, your playlists, photos, and movies. And you can backup any of those. There is a built-in video and audio player that allows you to listen to your songs or view videos.

All in all, this app works extremely well. It detected my iPod 5G on the first try and was very responsive throughout my time with it.
