Xilisoft iPhone Video Converter 6.5

Xilisoft iPhone Video Converter is a multi-format video converter. It was designed to let you convert files so that you can play them on the iPhone.

iPhones, and most other Apple devices, support native playback of files in two formats: H.264 or MPEG-4. Thus, this converter can open most file formats and convert them into one of the aforementioned formats. The application uses conversion profiles to further help you decide which format you are going to use. There are three profiles for H.264 and one for MPEG-4 and one of the H.264 profiles is optimized for your iPhone's TV out feature.

In terms of design, Xilisoft iPhone Video Converter has an interface that looks pretty much identical to their Windows app. That is not bad, but I would like these companies to start investing in design to make an app that looks like it belongs on a Mac. The graphical interface can get slow at times, especially when you are loading large files.

This converter works well, and it is relatively fast. However, it is not as fully-featured as I was expecting, and I believe it is too expensive for what it offers, especially when Handbrake can do the same and more, and that is a free tool.
