Wondershare PDF to ePub lets you convert your PDF books. ePub is a nice open standard for the distribution of electronic books. It is used by Apple on its iBook app, which lets you read e-book on the iPad, iPod Touch and iPhone. There is a lot of content that still comes in the PDF format, which is ideal for computers, but it lacks some of the nice features of ePub. With this application, you can easily convert those books to ePub so that you can put them on your iPad, for example.
To add a book to your conversion queue all you have to do is drag it onto the application. You can convert as many books as you want at the same time. For each book that you convert, you can specify which pages you want to convert. By default, the whole file will be converted, though.
From the Preferences window, you can customize the process a bit. You can choose whether you want images and text to be converted and whether you want hyperlinks in the converted file. I don't see why you wouldn't want the hyperlinks, though. I think they are a big part of the ePub experience.
In short, this app does a nice job of converting PDF files to ePub files. The files that I converted using this app could be added to iBooks via iTunes just fine, and they looked great on my iPad.
