Wondershare MobileTrans 6.7

Wondershare MobileTrans is a program for Mac that provides you with a quick and simple way to back up the data within your mobile phone or tablet to your Mac or a different media device. This utility also comes in handy if you want to erase the contents of your smartphone or tablet with minimum effort.

The application works with a wide variety of smartphone and tablet models, from multiple vendors. Wondershare MobileTrans brings you separate windows for 4 types of tasks: Phone To Phone Transfer, Restore From Backups, Back Up Your Phone, and Erase Your Old Phone. You don't need much computer experience to configure the app to complete any of the aforementioned tasks.

In my testing, I connected an iPhone to my Mac and backed up calendar info. The program immediately copied the files to my Mac and gave me access to the folder where the backed up files were stored.

Unfortunately, the utility comes with several important disadvantages. For starters, Wondershare MobileTrans might take a while to scan the contents of the connected media device. Furthermore, you cannot change the destination folder for the device to Mac backup mode and the app doesn't let you choose individual files for transfer (you can only back up the entire collection of photos, videos, contacts, etc.).

Still, this program provides you with a long list of supported smartphone and tablet models and immediately transfers your files. So, you should give this app a try if the aforementioned aspects don't mean much to you.
