Wirecast

Wirecast is an application that allows users to record and broadcast live streams. For this purpose, it provides an elegant and intuitive interface, with full control over video transitions, input sources, encoders and media content that will be streamed.

The Asset Manager offers the means for organizing media files. You can assign one file to another. Moreover, Wirecast allows you to select as well as edit transitions between files.

The application supports multiple input sources both internal and external: built-in microphone, Input, iSight.

From the Broadcast Settings panel users can select the destination, encoder used and rate of transfer. Built-in encoder presets provide a quick and easy way of switching between multiple stream types.

Master Layers act like containers for media content. Each of them is activated by a hotkey.
