I have been using Handbrake to convert my DVD collection to MP4 or MKV. I purchased the Winter Suite including the WInX DVD Ripper for Mac. I am not satisfied. I am ripping my second one and it is taking hours. What would talk 30-40 minutes on Handbrake is taking hours such as 4-5... and still waiting for it to finish. Very frustrating. There Ianni way a DVD collection can be backed-up with such a slow process.

After a month's use, I am very content with this DVD ripper. It could nearly solve all my concerns regarding ripping DVD. And it is very fast with good video quality. I give it a five-star mark.

Just downloaded and installed faultlessly on my 13'' rMBP (OSX 10.10.3), opens up to a very decent UI. I tested with my dvd movie - rip Wreck-It Ralph to mkv, the wizard is intuitive and the ripping speed I have to say, deadly fast! The output video file is close to pristine. Couldn't more pleased with such a free dvd ripper for mac, cheers. Biggrin
