WagesX is a personal wage calculator. It was written with the consultant in mind. By entering your billing rate and payable rate (that is what you get !), WagesX can give compute your withholding taxes, and give you some general annualized statistics.
You may open up several calculators to compare amongst several rate combinations.
What WagesX is NOT:
It is not an Accountant or Tax advisor. While the numbers are current with the tax laws for 2008, it should not be used for tax advice.
It does come in handy when you are bidding for a job, as it can give you a quick summary of your quotes to clients.
