This game is the third installment from the Viking Saga series developed by the Realore company. The story continues with the main character, Ingolf, who needs to complete a quest in order to marry the love of his life. He will embark on a dangerous journey across the land and sea to find the biggest diamond in the world.
Like in the previous installments, this strategy game brings you plenty of challenging levels and lets you choose between 3 difficulty levels (Easy, Normal, and Hard). The game rules are also the same: you need to assign various tasks to your viking companions.
Each mission comes with a list of goals which you need to complete before you run out of time. The quicker you finish a level, the higher your score gets. You will need to rebuild roads and constructions, collect goods like food or wood, interact with various characters, etc. The tasks list is displayed on the bottom side of the screen so you can always check your goals while you assign chores to the vikings.
An advantage is that the app provides you with detailed instructions. This feature might prove to be of good use to people who didn't play the previous installments and wish to easily learn how to complete assignments during challenges.
My only issue with this game is that not all levels are available for free. You need to make an in-app purchase in order to unlock all missions.
Still, it's worth making the aforementioned in-app purchase if you're into playing this type of time management games. The app has a nice, captivating storyline and brings you many challenging levels.
