You can include videos into your gallery from various sources. The app lets you select clips from your local folders or provide the URL address of the video (from Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo, Metacafe, MySpace, etc.). Afterwards, you can choose the way the thumbnails of your clips should appear within the gallery (select the thumbnail resolution, style, etc.), select a Play button, page color, and many others.
I like that you have access to a wide range of stylish video player templates which you can preview before exporting the resulted gallery. You can also select the preferred video resolution for the input clips displayed when you click the Play button within the gallery.
The only thing that bothers me about working with this program is the fact that it supports a small amount of video formats (MP4, FLV, and 3GP). Hence, popular formats like MOV, AVI or MKV are not supported.
All in all, Video LightBox is a Mac application that provides you with a simple and cheap solution for creating and publishing video galleries on the Web. The program is easy-to-use, offers you high-quality output, and comes with a reasonable price.
