VideoGet

VideoGet 7.0

It downloads clips from various video sharing websites.

This program lets you download and convert clips from more than 750 video sharing websites. You can use this application whenever you wish to download a music video from YouTube, a documentary from Vimeo or a tutorial from Vidipedia for watching it directly from your desktop by using your default media player.

The utility lets you import as many video URLs as you like, choose from a wide variety of output formats, and configure several output settings according to your needs (select video resolution, audio quality, etc.). The download speed will depend solely on the strength of your Internet connection signal. In my testing, the app immediately downloaded 4 online videos and preserved the quality of the clips.

Another advantage is the fact that it uses a very small amount of CPU resources while downloading videos.

The one thing I'd change is to add an option for importing lists of video URLs. Now, you can import one video URL at a time, a process that takes a while if you wish to fetch multiple clips at once.

However, this program is very simple to handle and offers you quality output files within moments. In addition, it comes with a very reasonable price. So, if the aforementioned disadvantage doesn't mean much to you, you should definitely give this app a try.
