Video Converter Master is a video conversion utility that was primarily designed to be easy to use. Thus, it has a very simple graphical user interface with drag and drop functionality and it is missing some features that you would normally see in video converters, such as a video editor and access to advanced video conversion settings. To make up for that, the application includes a long list of video conversion profiles, which are pre-configured conversion settings that will result in files optimized for playback on specific devices.
I thought format support was going to be limited, but I was wrong. This utility lets you convert your video files into 12 different video and 9 audio formats. The most popular ones are available. There are conversion profiles for iPhones, iPods, iPads, Android smartphones, PMPs, PS3s, PSPs, Xbox 360, and a few other devices.
The process couldn't really be simpler. You simply need to drag the file that you want to convert onto the application, and select a profile or format. Then just click "Start" and wait for the application to convert the file.
I tested the app with an MKV file, which I converted into HD H.264. It was 30 seconds long and it took the application over 4 minutes to convert it. In my experience, this is rather slow. Operations with standard definition files weren't that slow with this converter.
Transfer video, audio and photo files between iPad and Mac without any loss.
Tipard iPhone Software Pack for Mac combines four different applications.
