TunesKit Audio Capture is an application that records the audio playing on your Mac. Therefore, the program helps you capture online audio tracks streamed by music websites and extract audio clips from online video files. The results will be converted into most common audio formats, so you can enjoy your favorite music on any media player or portable device.

At first opening, the application displays the icons of iTunes, Spotify, and Firefox to easily connect and search for your favorite music. Optionally, you can add other similar tools for fast online music search and easy streaming. Before starting the audio capture, you should go to Preferences for custom settings. Therefore, you can choose the desired output profile out of six available formats, including MP3, M4A, AAC, FLAC, WAV, and M4B. In addition, you can manually change the codec, the channel, the sample rate, the bit rate, and the quality. Furthermore, you have the ability to enable other smart options, such as deleting the recordings automatically if they last less than a certain amount of time or when silence is encountered. You can also set the program to split recordings individually when a new track begins or replays. The program lets you manage your recordings within the history panel. You can sort them according to the application that generated the audio, by title, artist, duration, and creation time.

The program works fine and provides handy audio capturing features. Each recording supports being played back within the app so you can decide whether it's worth being kept or removed from the very start. The recording options help you a lot in the audio capturing process, yet you can't preserve specific output settings for each application generating the audio.
