Tubbler is a powerful player developed by Celmaro. It is employed for playing web content into a separate window on the desktop. It comes with a modern look and an intuitive menu that will grant the Mac users quick access to all of the features. It comes with drag&drop support for adding videos into the playlist, but the editing of the playlist can only be done by using the menu.
It doesn't consume much of the Mac's resources, since it doesn't rely on a flash player in order to play the video, but as I was testing it I discovered that when trying to enlarge the player window into full screen, it doesn't stretch the video to full screen, but only the interface. Also, the customization of the application is poorly built, as it doesn't allow the Mac users to personalize it. However, the users are enabled to edit basic settings for a player, such as choosing the order of the playlist, as well as turning on or off the shuffle or repeat modes.
Finally, Tubbler is a powerful player that allows the users to play web videos into a desktop window, on primary or secondary display, or in a hovering window, allowing the Mac users to work with other applications at the same time.
