Unfortunately, Finder, the default file manager on Mac computers, is pretty limited when it comes to functionality. With many settings missing or being difficult to locate, this app might prove to be inconvenient to work with, especially when you need to use multiple Finder windows at the same time. For these reasons, programs like TotalFinder were developed.

This Mac plugin provides you with various settings for Finder which you can easily configure according to your needs. The application can add the following features to the aforementioned file manager: dual-panel option, multi-tab support, settings to reveal hidden system files, and others.

A very useful option is the opportunity to copy the path of any file or folder within your Mac (access context menu - > select Copy Path). This feature comes as an alternative to using the Terminal or Finder's Get Info option to reveal the correct path of a document.

You don't need to launch TotalFinder at system log-in as it automatically starts at system login. What's more, it offers you an option to immediately restart Finder and uninstall the plugin if you're not happy with its features.

In my opinion, it's definitely worth buying this application for your Mac. The program brings you many useful features, is very simple to handle, and comes with a very reasonable price.
