Tipard Zune Converter Suite for Mac includes both a DVD ripper and a video converter. These apps can be used to convert your DVD movies and videos so that you can play them on your Microsoft Zune. As you may know, not all the video formats can be played on the now-discontinued Zune. In fact, only a handful of formats play nice with this device. These two tools can convert media to H.264, MPEG-4 and WMV, all of which are supported by the Zune and many other multimedia playback devices.
Before converting your files or ripping the DVD titles from your DVD movie, you can use the built-in editor to adjust the brightness, contrast and saturation of your videos. The editor can also be used to trim and crop your videos and add watermarks to them.
When you run this suite, you will see an application launcher that lets you access both of the apps included in it. You can only run one application at the time. Both the DVD ripper and the video converter share a similar graphical user interface. Both apps include a video player and on-screen instructions on how to use them, although you probably won't need to read the instructions more than once since the app is very easy to use.
