TimeStat

TimeStat is a small menubar app (yes, another one) that is meant to supplant the default time display from Apple.

Why Apple chose not to allow date display up there is beyond me, but that was the main reason I wrote this. It's also got a menubar option to start iCal.
Features? Well, you can create your own display using standard strftime variables, and I present a little area where you can see what the appropriate settings are and what they mean. There's also a couple of default formats you can choose if you don't want to make a custom version.
This doesn't compete with the Requirements
