Timecode Calculator is intended to make calculations related to video timings. It solves the problem of dealing with timecode, a special format in which a sequence of numbers is used to refer to a given video frame.
The application has a minimalistic interface, which resembles that of a standard calculator. In this regard, I do not think anyone can have problems using it. The tool allows performing such basic operations as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing timecodes. Luckily, it lets you automatically convert between timecode formats, because it supports applying the desired fps conversion rate. Finally, there is also the possibility of recording all your activities in a log, which you can preview by just pressing a button. Likewise, the contents of the log can be sent to print or copied to the clipboard.
All in all, Timecode Calculator is a minimalistic tool for basic timecode operations, which can be used in video production by both professional and amateur users. You should know that there are multiple similar tools out there, some of them available online at no cost. Some of them allow using preset video formats in the calculations, which is not possible with this application. This product can be purchased from the Mac App Store at a reasonable price. There is also an iOS version for your portable devices.
