Thumbplay Music is a music discovery and playback tool. It allows users in the United States to play music that is stored on the Cloud and create playlists, and share the music with friends and other users of the Thumbplay Music community. If you have a Twitter account, you can use it to share with your followers what you are listening, and see what other users are listening as well.
The application is very simple. You can use the search feature to find any songs that you want, or you can browse music by genre. Also, you can access the hottest songs of the moment, which is a list of the most played songs by Thumbplay Music users.
When I tested this app, I didn't have any problems finding any of the songs that I could think of. There really are lots and lots of available songs. And they all sound great. Songs loaded almost instantly, and the playlist feature worked great. There is support for smart phones and you can even use those to listen to songs offline, while on the move.
Unfortunately, like lots of greats music apps out there, Thumbplay Music only accepts registrations from U.S. users. This can be easily bypassed by using a VPN service, but speed is usually a concern with these tools.
