The Hit List is a small program that can help to organize your personal life. The program is designed to keep tabs on everything you are going through... in writing, but it is not your diary. Create your own tasks, projects, and reminders, so you never have a feeling that you forgot to do something. I mean you would, if you forgot to put it down on your life, but on the bright side, you won't forget about another million of your other errands.
The program is a bit buggy. Namely, to create a new task (even though the instructions say I need to click Return) I had to go to the program's menu or use shortcuts. On the other hand, clicking Return did work at some random times.
I guess the benefit of this software is that you can create your TO-DO list and sync it with your iPhone or iPod, and WHO nowadays doesn't have an iDevice?! So your TO-DO list can be with you anywhere you go.
The program is a little bit more powerful than your grandma would need, and a lot less powerful to be used in an Office environment. I guess, I would consider this program as a program for personal use - organizing your personal life, rather than any task around the Office (Microsoft Outlook works fine for organization the needs around the office for us).
Bottom line: the developer's task flow on the screenshots looked a lot better than I managed to create during the trial of this program. The hefty price tag of 50 dollars is what definitely would keep me away from this program. I am not saying it is a bad program, I just think it is a little bit expensive for what it can do - you can get notes, tasks, and calendars on Google for free (alternative example).
