Yes, you can save conversations and reuse them in Text2Speech Pro, but you need to make sure that the proper version of Text2Speech is used. For example, I've installed the free version and the Save function wasn't available.
The PRO version has the Save function enabled allowing you to save to a custom file to load it afterwards or later.

I can't install the software because it's commercial. I have checked the available options, and the only thing you can configure is through the Speak Setup button on the left side of the application. I don't see a PAUSE option or button that can be used for your needs.
