Tembo is an efficient search tool that is based upon the Spotlight engine.
The job of this program is to make searching and finding of files, mail messages, bookmarks, etc. as easy as possible. Search results are grouped by categories. Preferences allow for categories to be enabled, disabled and reordered.
Tembo may list up to 2500 search results within each group. The filter is appropriate for the context, to help you sort through the list of results. Messages, for example, may be filtered by subject, sender and recipient.
Thus Tembo is much more than a file search tool. It works as an extension to Mail.app / iChat.app to locate messages, And as an extension to Safari to search browsing history and bookmarks, etc.
