Super PhotoCut Pro can separate the desired foreground element from the background in your photographs.
As said above, the application is very easy to use, which is the result of a friendly interface and a straightforward workflow. In this regard, most of the screen is devoted to previewing the image; and, luckily, every action can be immediately carried out. Thus, there is no problem if you need to revert any undesired change.
As to workflow, you can start by importing the source photo, which may be in any of such popular formats as BMP, JPG, PNG and GIF. Then, you can perform an initial cutout by simply drawing a rectangle to pick the object you wish to keep. At this point, you will notice that the app does a fairly good job at finding its borders. However, it is quite likely that you will need to manually fix any imperfection, using a set of marker tools. Finally, you can pick a different background and decide how the object is integrated with it via transition effects.
In short, this tool is highly recommended to cut out an object from its background. In this respect, one of the best features of Super Photocut Pro is its unique ability to handle semiopaque textures, such as a bride's dress, which shows there is something powerful running "under the hood". However, It has some limitations in relation to the number of features it supports if you compare it with other more versatile tools. For instance, it does not allow applying general filters or working with layers. Luckily, there are free trials of this product and its standard version.
Pros
- Supports multiple image formats
- Works with semiopaque textures
- Instant previewing of results
- Powerful image processing algorithms
- Multiple transition effects
Cons
- Cannot apply general filters
- Does not support layers
Super PhotoCut saved me lots of time in cutting out the part I need. It deserves every penny.
