Super Image Resizer is a graphics editing tool that was designed to let you resize and/or compress your images. This app is very useful when processing a handful of images, but its true potential can only be seen when converting hundreds of them. That is when this app becomes an absolute must.
The first thing that I noticed about this utility was its simple graphical user interface. It consists of a rather small window with a space at the top where you can drag the images that you want to resize. Right below that space is a bar that lets you set the compression quality of the images. By default, the value is 80%, which can in fact make some images bigger in size than the source file. If you want to change the size of your images, the resize options are what you will be the most interested in. They allow you to form the preset so that all your pictures are changed to have the same size or are scaled by the application in percentage or using a set size.
Super Image Resizer did a great job of processing the images that I tested it with. I set a JPEG quality of 66% and I was able to reduce the size of my files by 10% or more in some cases. I like that the app can also use different renaming options and apply them to all your files.
