StrongPassword is a handy application that generates more or less complex passwords, according to your preferences. Since the tool only creates random passwords, it is recommended to use a password manager for preserving the generated codes.
The utility has a clean and intuitive interface. The application comes with three password generating modes. Therefore, you can easily switch between basic, advanced, and word-containing password formats. The basic mode allows you to select uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, symbols, punctuation signs, and brackets. In the advanced mode, you can add special characters of your choice and mark what letters and numbers should not appear in your password. The Word mode creates passwords with random words separated by favorite symbols. The length of the password can be controlled with ease by dragging a slider. In addition, a strength indicator bar lets you know how strong the newly generated password is. The strength level can also be managed from Preferences.
