Status Barred comes in handy to iOS app developers who need to prepare the screenshots of their apps for the iTunes store.

The app is very easy to use. The utility preserves the quality of the input snapshots and immediately provides you with the pictures you need.

However, you can use Mac's default image viewer called Preview and crop the unnecessary area from your iOS screenshots. Personally, I'd prefer working with a default Mac app instead of installing and working in a third-party program. So, it's up to you to decide if it's worth downloading and installing Status Barred on your computer.
