Squeaker is a text file editor for people on the go. It is available for Mac OS X, Mac OS 8-9, Windows, andLinux. It is small enough that all 4 versions can fit on a Zip disk, USB flash drive, or similar media, with plentyof room left over for files. It also has no local file dependency, and generates no preference or supportfiles. Thus, it can be used without leaving any trace on the machine, and can be used on machines wherepreference files cannot be created.
