SquareBid is an original game in which you must uncover numbers and fill the board. The game is not explained at all, so it took me a while to figure out how to play. The goal of the game is to fill the board with numbers progressively. Every time, you click on a square to reveal a number you will have squares around that you can click on to reveal the next number, and so on. The game is over when there is no more space around a certain number to reveal the next one because they are already occupied with another number. To win the game, you will have to be very careful when revealing the numbers and think your moves ahead.
The game includes four different modes to play: Game Star (6x6 or 10x10), and Game Horse (6x6 or 10x10). The game offers no hints, but you can set a Magic Key anytime you want, so if you lose, you can start from that number and not from the beginning. If you want, you can also revert to the last move. The game features very simple graphics, no sounds and no music. It is challenging and addictive, so it will keep you playing for a while.
In short, if you are looking for a simple but challenging game to pass the time and keep your brain working, SquareBid may be a good choice.
