Spectacle is a window management utility created to help you move and resize screens on your desktop. This program might prove to be of good use to people who are working with multiple windows on their screen and are looking for a quick and easy way to organize them.
The application lives on your Menu Bar from where you can access various window resizing and rearranging options. The shortcut keys can be seen in the main menu of the program and in the Preferences panel. You can change the ones you find difficult to remember and disable the global hotkeys you don't plan to use.
In addition, the utility comes with an option to disable its resizing and rearranging features for an hour. I also like that you can configure the application to disable its global hotkeys while you're working with Finder or other tool from your Mac.
In my testing, Spectacle worked flawlessly. It immediately completed any given task, was simple to configure, and used minimum CPU resources while running on my Menu Bar.
With that being said, Spectacle proves to be a reliable solution for resizing and rearranging windows on your screen. Not to mention, it comes without a price.
