Spanish Flashcards BASIC is a language learning tool. The app lets you learn some Spanish phrases by looking at quite a few different flash cards. There are 4 different categories for exercises in this app: word, meaning, spelling and listening. In this version, there are 10 exercises per category. The paid version has quite a few more words and phrases that you can learn.
There is a toolbar located on the left part of the screen that gives you access to all of the program's features. By default, when you launch the app, you will see the "WordFile Home", which is a sort of a summary of the application's contents. Below that is a button that reads "Review Learning List". This options shows you some of the words that you have already learned, or should have learned.
The most useful buttons are the exercise buttons. By clicking on each one of those, you are shown exercises, in which you are given multiple options to match the meaning of a Spanish word shown above. When you select the right option, you are automatically taken to the next word in the exercise.
All in all, this app is a very, very basic Spanish learning tool. It can be useful for beginner learners of Spanish. The words used range from "Hello", "Goodbye" and "Yes" to "Excuse me", and "How are you?". Suffice it to say, you won't become a proficient speaker of Spanish just by using this app.
