SourceDrop is a Mac tool that comes in handy to app developers who wish to easily and quickly share their code snippets with other users. This application helps you publish your code on the websites of various PasteBin providers, such as GIST, TinyPaste, etc.

All you need to do is drag-and-drop your snippet over the app's icon which is located in your Menu Bar. The program will immediately post your code on the website selected from the Preferences panel.

Another advantage is the fact that you can define a global hotkey for immediately uploading snippets to the webpage of the selected PasteBin provider. This way, you no longer need to access the app's menu in order to share your code. Just copy the snippets to your clipboard and hit the combination of keys.

The program also keeps a log with the shared snippets and lets you clear it whenever you like.

To summarize, SourceDrop proves to be a smart addition to your collection of Mac apps if you're a programmer and wish to share your work. What's more, you don't have to pay a buck to use it on your computer.
