I have Sony Bridge for Mac and it worked though somewhat slowly on Snow Leopard. Since I upgraded to Mavericks on my Mac, it is extremely slow and very frustrating. I love my Xperia E but am almost thinking of going to iPhone when I chose Sony first due to happy experience and cost. I have tried asking Sony that suggested a reinstall which made not difference. Apple was helpful too. Any suggestions? May be, others have had similar things happen. Can you help?

If you have an old version of the software, try obtaining a new one from the official website and replace the one installed in your computer. Additionally, configure firewall in your Mac to allow communication between your application and device. Even if it's local, the packets can still get filtered.
