SnowFox iPad Video Converter is a video conversion utility that can help you to convert your video files so that you can play them on your iPad, iPod Touch or Nano, iPhone, or other devices that support the M4V and MP4 (H.264 and MPEG-4) formats. The input format support is quite good. I was able to open MOV, AVI and MKV files without any problems.
The first thing that I noticed about this application is how nice-looking its graphical user interface is. I like its simplicity and how functional it is. I also noticed that it doesn't have a video editor, but it does let you trim your videos by inputting the trim times manually.
All the conversion settings are on the right part of the screen, from where you can change the format, and change individual video and audio options like codec, data rate, frame rate, resolution, channels and sample rate. There is also a video player that you can use to watch your videos before conversion.
There is a very important feature in this application that most other video converters don't have: it is support for external subtitles. By simply selecting a .SRT file, the application will hard-code subtitles onto your video, so you can watch your videos with subtitles on any of the supported devices.
In my testing, everything worked as expected, except for the trimmer. I manually chose the 10-minute mark at the beginning of my video, and the end point was 11 minutes. However, when my file was converted, it started from the beginning of the file.

- The trimmer doesn't seem to work
