Stream internet radios on your Mac. Browse the frequencies to find and select a specific radio station or manually tune into it. Save profiles for quick access to the identified radio stations. The program processes and plays high-frequency stereo sounds and works with Karotz, Nabaztag, and other types of listening devices.
Short Wave (formerly RadioZ) streams internet radios on your Macintosh. A searchable radio’s list allows you to select and listen your preferred channels worldwide. Karotz and Nabaztag are supported as listening devices as well.
With Short Wave you can create lists of radio or songs – and synchronize them on all your devices (on iPhone/iPad using Short Wave for iOS).
If the radio transmits song’s title and information, you are enabled to read the lyrics and save the title. Later on, you can search again the song by name, buy it or share it with your friends. Personal lists are synchronized via iCloud.
To use Short Wave with Karotz you need to download the "radioz" free application from the Karotz Store. Please install and copy the "install-id" from karotz.com in the configuration panel.
To use Short Wave with Nabaztag you need to download the "API Key" from nabaztag.com
Channels and songs synchronization across different devices via iCloud requires the same iCloud account on all involved devices.
