SecureSafe Client is intended to store and synchronize data as well as manage passwords. It needs a SecureSafe cloud account in which files and passwords are stored in the encrypted form.
The application is easy to install and there is a sort of wizard to help you do that. Its interface is very clean with three tabs: Password Safe, File Safe and Settings. For passwords and files, it is possible to search for specific items based on keywords and rules. As to settings, you can configure automatic synchronizations at the desired intervals. Likewise, you can set the tool to start automatically along with the system.
SecureSafe Client mirrors your online account on local folders. So, various folders are automatically created on your disk, including File Safe, Password Safe and Mail-In. Additionally, there may be a folder for each Team Space. It is great that you can use subfolders to keep your files organized.
As to security, the tool is not very good at managing passwords as it does not support automatic filling. However, it is much better in terms of securely storing your data. In this respect, it uses a strong 256-bit encryption algorithm and supports two-factor authentication.
All in all, SecureSafe Client is a good choice for synchronizing, sharing and securing your data. The client is absolutely free to download but it may involve some costs depending on your type of plan. There is a free plan you can use if you are not intending to store so many passwords or data.
