SandSlides is a puzzle game originally developed for iOS devices. In this game, you need to draw lines to direct colored sand from the sand boxes on the top to sand collectors at the bottom of the screen. You draw these lines by clicking and dragging with the left mouse button. On iOS, you do that by drawing on the screen, which is a better way to play this game. During gameplay, a sand box will start filling up with sand and a timer will be shown. When the time runs out, the box will be opened and the sand will be released into the playing area. The goal of the game is to collect as much sand as you can in the correct sand collector. You will soon find that the lines that you draw don't go away on their own. You have to double click them to erase them. If you don't erase them, you probably won't be able to capture any sand, because it will get trapped in the intersection of both lines. So you have to be fast to draw lines and then erase them when all the sand has been collected.
The game features different modes. There is a practice mode for casual gameplay, then you have a marathon mode that lets you play for a long period of time while the brutal and insane modes increase the difficulty to make the game more challenging.
SandSlides comes with a tutorial on how to play the game. However, it is broken, since you can't draw lines during the tutorial, which prevents you from advancing.
In short, SandSlides is a fun and challenging game, but if you have a chance of getting this on an iOS device, you will enjoy it more that way.
