Same Game Challenge is an open-source puzzle game. The objective is quite simple, you need to click on groups of pieces of the same color to remove them from the board. When you do that, the pieces above the group will fall. When there are no moves left, that is, when no more groups of pieces can be found on the screen, you will lose. The bigger the groups that you clear, the more points you will get. You can add up to 5 user names to the game, and the high-scores for each game will be saved, which is a nice way to spark up competition among friends.
There are two different modes: Challenge and Normal. In Normal, you simply play the game without any time constraints, while, In Challenge, you can play puzzles created by other users. Unfortunately, there is only one challenge available, which dates back to 2006. In that challenge, you need to complete the puzzle using only three clicks, which is quite easy.
In conclusion, this game could be considered a nice time killer. I like that it lets you compete with friends on the same computer. It has some design problems, one of them very important. When you select a game mode, there is no way to go back to select the other mode; you have to restart the application.
