Safari Guide is a free application for Mac OS X Tiger that allows developers to evaluate arbitrary XPath, XQuery, and JavaScript expressions against the current frontmost Safari webpage.
Using Safari Guide is easy...
- Open a webpage or XML document in a Safari browser window.
- Launch Safari Guide and type an XPath expression into the XPath text field, or an XQuery into the XQuery text area, or a JavaScript expression into the JavaScript text area.
- Click 'Evaluate' and watch the matching sequence of nodes or JavaScript value from the front Safari window appear.

Safari Guide can be helpful in debugging applications which use XPath, XQuery, and JavaScript. Also, Safari Guide is a simple, elegant tool with which to learn more about the fascinating XPath and XQuery languages.
