RText is a programmer's text editor written in Java. RText is powerful and cross-platform. It is designed to be easy to use, highly customizable, and flexible. You can easily move code around in your document, or even into another application. Also, you can edit and save files in ASCII, Unicode, or any other encoding supported by JVM. It has a completely customizable UI - change the toolbar's icon set, the application's look and feel, the colors and fonts used in the editor, what buttons are visible on the toolbar, etc.
