ReSpaceApp is an application that aims to re-create the 2D 'spaces' grid functionality that was removed from OSX Lion.

You can navigate a grid of desktops using hotkeys for each direction. You may use the transitions, hotkeys and navigation preferences you desire. All accessible from a handy icon in the status bar, that also indicates your current desktop.
