Info updated on:

RemoteClock is a tiny application that allows you to have a big digital clock in the middle of your screen. The clock displays the current time with hour, minutes and seconds. Once installed, the application will be placed on your menu bar with a black clock as its icon. The clock will only appear if you click on that icon or if you activate it with the Apple Remote, which is a small remote with infrared capabilities used to control the Apple TV.

Unfortunately, the clock doesn't have any customization options whatsoever. It would have been great if it at least also showed the present date and day of the week, along with the time. The only thing you can do is select the background opacity, which can go from no opacity to completely black, which means that you won't be able to see what's on your desktop.

In short, if you are looking for a really simple clock which can work as screensaver and that you can control with your Apple Remote, RemoteClock may work for you. But if you are the type of user who likes having customizable apps, you might have to look somewhere else.
