Red Storm Defense 1.062
Red Storm Defense is a tower-defense game for the Mac. It can also be played on your web browser from the developer's website and I heard that even on Facebook. The game doesn't have the best graphics that you have seen in a tower defense game, and there are some design flaws here and there, but I like the fact that it brings something to the genre that I hadn't seen before. In most tower defense games, you have to prevent enemies from reaching a certain spot on the map. In Red Storm Defense, your objective is to prevent the enemies from stealing four rare energy crystals. So, your job is to prevent them from getting to the spot on the map where the crystals are kept and then preventing them from exiting the map with them. When you start playing, you are given enough money to buy several towers, and there are different types available. You also command a mech that is placed in the middle of the map, which shoots with three cannons. You can upgrade the mech as well. You have to make sure that you create enough towers to prevent enemies from ever getting to the crystals, because when they get to them and you kill them, the crystals will move closer to the exit, and then it becomes increasingly difficult to protect them.
In short, this is a fun tower defense game with interesting gameplay. There are many things that you can customize to increase your chances for success.
- Interesting gameplay
- Not the best graphics
- Presentation could be better
