Rails is a game for Mac where you combine your strategic skills and passion for trains to complete various railway tasks. This game is suitable for players of all ages, has nice graphics and sound effects, and can keep you in front of your computer for hours.
You have access to detailed tutorials where you can learn how to build tracks, handle rail switches, guide trains, and many other. So even if you're new to this type of game, you can easily learn to cope with all gameplay tasks.
The main goal of this app is to guide the trains and build the tracks in such way that they reach their correspondent station (the train's color must match the station's shade).
However, the most important advantage of this program is the fact that you can synchronize the game progress with iCloud. This way, you can continue playing your game on any other computer or device which has Rails installed.
An aspect which I imagine would be difficult for beginner players is that they can't pause gameplay in order to build rail tracks. Another thing I don't like about Rails is that it doesn't allow you to create more than one player profile.
To summarize, Rails is an entertaining strategy game for Mac and I'm sure train fans will enjoy playing its challenging missions. The app is filled with numerous levels, offers plenty of power-ups during gameplay to help you finish your tasks, and helpful tutorials.
