Quaver is a utility to assist composers and recording engineers with some maths and musical theory. It features three tabs, each dedicated to a particular task. The first deals with tempo, and calculates the delay times and oscilator frequencies that match a particular tempo. The second tab calculates the relationship between MIDI notes, their fundamental frequencies and their names. The final tab assists you in identifying the notes of a given scale (or mode) and working out how to draw the corresponding key signature.
Quaver is a musical calculator and look-up tool for recording engineers and composers. It can calculate the delay times and oscillator frequencies that match a given tempo to help keep things in sync. Its pitch tool can tell you the fundamental frequency of any note in the MIDI range - or perform the reverse calculation. Finally, the scale tool can tell you the notes that make up a given scale and draw the key signature.
