Psychoban is a nicely-designed 3D puzzle game for the Mac. In it, you control a patient in a psychiatric hospital who is instructed by his doctor to complete a set of puzzles to test the results of a surgery he has just undergone.
The puzzles consist of one or more blocks that you have to drag around to place on top of markers on the ground. To move them, you can click on them and select one of the possible moves. Unlike similar block puzzles, this one is done in 3D, so you can also pile blocks to complete levels. The only thing you should keep in mind is that when a block is placed next to one of the corners of the screen, you won't be able to move it from that edge.
Psychoban can be very challenging and that is something that I always like in a game. The game levels are designed quite well and I like the work done with the dialogs, which can be funny at times.
Pros
- Challenging
- Nice overall design
- Easy to learn
Cons
- None
It's a funny and unusual game. You need luck, accuracy and brains to finish the level.
