The utility gives you access to 3 separate windows: Application Preferences, System Preferences, and Syntax Checker. In the first screen you will be able to find and delete the preferences files of the apps that don't work the way they used to. You can import multiple programs into the list and batch remove the preferences files you no longer need on your Mac.

In the second window you will be able to select and delete the preferences files of various components of your operating system, like the Airport preferences files.

The last screen gives you access to a syntax checker. This built-in tool reveals the PLIST files which contain syntax errors.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend this program to a beginner. Deleting the wrong file might cause some serious issues.
