Portable iChat is a shell script that opens a local copy of the iChat application using stored buddies, accounts, and preferences located in its application bundle. Temporary renaming of files such as ~%2FLibrary%2FLogs%2FiChatConnectionError and ~%2FLibrary%2FPreferences%2Fcom.apple.iChat.plist, com.apple.iChat.AIM.plist, com.apple.iChat.jabber.plist, com.apple.iChatAgent.plist, and com.apple.iChat.SubNet.plist is done to create a symlink for portable use.
