Poptagram is a Mac application designed to help you search and preview photos that were uploaded on Instagram. This program comes in handy due to the fact that the Instagram website doesn't come with a search option and by working with this tool you can easily track down what's new on the aforementioned website.
When launching the app for the first time it's important to log in to your Instagram account or else you won't be able to preview photos. If you don't have an account yet, you create one on the Instagram homepage and enter the registered credentials within the interface of Poptagram.
You can configure the app's settings according to your requirements by choosing the preferred interval of time for the program's results list refresh and selecting the proper image preview options (slide duration, position on screen, etc.). I like the fact that you can move the preview window wherever on the screen even though you selected in the Preferences menu a certain desktop position (for instance, Top Right).
Another good aspect about this utility is that by clicking over one of the found pictures you have direct access to the Instagram homepage of the uploaded photo.
