Pixillion Image Converter Software was created for users who need to immediately batch convert their pictures. This utility works with a wide variety of image formats, helps you edit the input pictures before launching the conversion process, and provides you with quality output files within moments.
The application might prove to be of good use if you need to prepare a collection of pictures for a photo collage. You can use it to resize all input image to fit a specific resolution, trademark your photos or rotate pictures at any angle you like. Once you finish polishing your images, you can select the preferred output format and click the Convert button from the bottom side of the main window. However, the image editing part isn't mandatory, and you can easily convert your images after you import them.
This utility is also packed with an image preview screen, can preserve image metadata if needed, and preserves the quality of your pictures.
Unfortunately, this app comes with several flaws. For starters, it doesn't let you choose individual output profiles when batch converting images. Furthermore, even though you can see an Effects button on the bottom side of the screen, it actually reveals image editing tools to help you resize, rotate or watermark pictures. Hence, no visual effects whatsoever.
Another disadvantage is that the buttons from the upper side of the main window aren't for launching default built-in tools (for example, the Burn and Slideshow buttons). You need to install these utilities in order to make them work. more
